Of course, Ryouga didn't do the proper research in using the device. He should probably have used it on himself. Instead he figured it was something like holy-water for vampires and had cracked the bottle over Ranma.

Effect being: Ranma turning into a cat-boy (some-times cat-girl) with usually total control over the neko-ken. It also resulted in Ranma not understanding why the girls were fighting over him when they could all share. (which incidentally resulted in a lot of beatings as the various girls took offense at different occasions)

Then the lamp had been found and Ranma took it to Nabiki who made her wish of understanding. And through that powerful and momentary connection, all of Ranma's fiancees shared the same "Essence of Bast." Poof, instant cat-girls with a fondness for Ranma and each other...especially Ranma.

• The cat-girls return to cat-boy Ranma
• Hmm, apparently pregnant cat-girls develop urges for cat-girl breast milk and semen...and some of the girls are acting funny...
• Mousse makes an attack on Ranma
• Usagi wonders what exactly Setsuna means by "Catgirl Tokyo"
• something else...
