RiW: Rei Ayanami?! [Episode 2784]

"Huh?!" Ranma wasn't sure what to expect, but this girl appearing out of nowhere wasn't it. "Who? What?"

"You do not appear to have any answers," said Rei. "My name is Rei Ayanami. I was piloting Eva Unit 0 when an Angel attacked and attempted to corrupt my unit. Rather than risk Ikari, I self-destructed the Eva."

"I don't understand," admitted Ranma.

Rei blinked emotionlessly. "I should be dead. Instead I am here. Is there someone who might know what is going on?"

Ranma paused. Enough of that penetrated. He wasn't being blamed. He wasn't getting pounded. This girl didn't understand what was going on. He didn't know what was going on. She wanted him to find someone who could figure this out. Preferably without him or her getting pounded. That meant:

• Oh hell, here comes Akane. Girl in skintight suit + Ranma = sudden fit of violence?
• Actually something stranger happened. Akane woke up to an unfamiliar ceiling in Tokyo-3?!
• Even worse, characters from different series have all interchanged. Where did Akane go?
• Ranma figures out that if anyone is likely to figure this out calmly - it's Cologne. Now if he can just sneak this girl out of here.
• As in number 3 above, but more than just Akane was displaced.
• something else?
