With the Eggs Of Daimon, he had shocktroopers. With the zombified students, he had cannon fodder. With the Witches 5, he had more elite troops. With the Zombie Senshi, he had artillery.
Except for that Sailor Moon. Channelling White Magic through a zombie body had negative consequences. In fact, all of the Zombie Senshi were beginning to show signs of wear and tear from channelling their energies through bodies that were heavily negatively charged.
The Lich King had frowned as he felt the source of darkness elsewhere die out, but as he'd been engaged in a battle at the time had not been able to determine how or why.
He was just able to call forth a Farseeing spell when a terrible pain ripped at his chest where he had the Pure Heart crystals. After a few moments it faded away but it was sufficient to leave him dazed.
"Damn. If I still breathed, I'd be breathless," said the Lich as he looked over his troops. "What are you waiting for. Secure the perimeter!"
As his troops hustled to obey, the Lich King took inventory. One of the Pure Hearts had come apart, becoming something else. Something that he wasn't able to draw power from. A Star... Seed? Whatever it was, it was useless without the power it had once had.
Once again he channelled his power into the Farseeing. He had to know what was going on.
Theodore Diggers examined the other zombie that had been present. "This one too. Her soul, her essence, was removed and she became a carrier for a Type III Possessing Entity. Those transform their host into the sort of undead typical for Jade and similar realms. Not much you can do about her, even if you retrieved the soul and placed it within - too much time has passed."
"This one was Neptune," said Ranma, pointing at a dust pile. Then he glanced at Kasumi, wearing a slightly different version of the fuku and bearing the sigil of Neptune now. "That means that I should appoint a new Sailor Uranus."
There was some startlement at that idea as Ranma's eyes swept the group, looking somehow for a match. "You. Will you become the new Sailor Uranus? We could use the extra firepower."
