Everyone paused with hands halfway to their mouths and stared at the rather tasty treats in growing horror.
“Please tell me that these pork buns,” Nabiki asked with a slightly green cast to her fur.
“Oh, no,” Kasumi observed innocently and popped a rat bun into her mouth. “I haven't seen Ryoga for quite a while. And I found such a nice recipe for long pig in those Hawaiian cookbooks Principal Kuno lent me.”
Sheila was trying to decide whether to sick-up or have seconds. While were-cats had been bred as the final solution to the were-rat assassin problem, actually eating them was considered to be barbaric. However, whether she was cooking a traditional Japanese meal or her sister, Kasumi’s cooking was simply irresistable.
“Well, I guess...” Ranma said slowly around a mouthful, then chewed, swallowed and continued, “At least Akane made a nice meal, at last.”
