"Saotome!" Soun said as he stood talla nd proud. "We have to get Ranma out of here quickly!"
"Agreed, Tendo!" Genma said, standing up to join his friend. "If Ranma is not here, then they cannot make him take responsibility!"
Ranma blanched. "You want me to run out on my daughter!?"
"Uh, uh, your BASTARD daughter." Genma 'corrected'.
Nodding his head quickly, Soun added, "Yes. Now Ranma, we're going to take you and Akane on a training trip. Preferably someplace with a quickie-chapel."
Nabiki rolled her eyes. This was a new low, even for those two.
Akane's left eye twitched. "I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!"
"Neither can I." Came Dr. Tofu's voice, making the two idiots freeze in their tracks.
Ranma blinked. "Tofu's here?"
"Yes," Kasumi answered, "Apparently, he knew that father and Mr. Saotome would try to leave as soon as he heard the news, so he left me instructions to read the note as soon as he was here."
The two Patriarchs groaned. Ranma couldn't help but smile.
The Saotomes and Tendos watched as Tofu lead an American couple and two children into the room. The man was blonde-haired, blue eyed, and wore a dark blue suit and a brown trench-coat.
The woman caught Ranma's eye for a bit. No, he wasn't perverted. The woman had an aura that was actually dwarfing his own, and she was keeping it in CHECK! This woman could possibly be his equal, if not better in the fighting area. Sure, she had a great figure, long red hair, and beautiful green eyes, but she was still putting out an aura that screamed, 'I am the Champion, hear me roar'.
The first of the two little girls seemed normal enough to Ranma. She couldn't have been more than 4-years-old. She wore a pink jumper and had blonde hair, and what Ranma noticed bright blue eyes that seemed to watch everything with wonder, trying to learn everything they could. "Smart cookie..." Ranma thought.
The fourth person, the second little girl, (couldn't have been much more than 3-years-old) was quite intruiging to Ranma. She had blonde hair like the first little girl, but it was covered in brown spots. And her ears were slightly pointed, giving her s soft elven charm. But here eyes were what caught Ranma. Bright, light-green expressive eyes that had iris that were ever-so-slightly slitted.
Dr. Tofu coughed into his hand. "Please, allow me to introduce the Diggers. Dr. Theodore Diggers," Tofu motioned towards the adult male, "Mrs. Julia Brigand-Diggers," He motioned to the female warrior who Ranma was thinking about how he could challenge her, "Their daughter, Gina Diggers," Tofu motioned to the blue-eyed girl, "And their adopted daughter, Britanny."
Hearing the Doctor say who Britanny was, everyone immediately concetrated on the girl. This made Britanny uncomfortable as everyone was just staring at her... And not all of those people seemed to friendly.
Nodoka eyed the child critically. Her first grandchild was a granddaughter! She was so unique too! Such an imaginitive hair-style.
Genma and Soun were feeling grim. This had to be some sort of mistake. Ranma and Akane were supposed to marry, so that they could retire for the rest of their lives in luxury as Ranma put the Tendo Dojo on the map.
Nabiki blinked. For some reason, while she did see the kid as a possible source of income, even she had to admit that Ranma's kid was pretty cute.
Kasumi thought Ranma's little girl was just simply darling. She hoped that the little girl would be staying around the home. She'd love to try and doll her up, almost as if she were her own daughter. Kasumi was such a sucker for sweet, innocent-looking children.
Akane was trying to hold in her emotions. She was a roller coaster on the inside at the moment. Anger. Betrayel. Grief. Sadness. Despair. Relief. Joy. Akane didn't know what she was feeling so she just relied on gut instinct. "Ranma no baka..."
*KA-POW*!
Ranma felt his jaw, and muttered about 'stupid tomboy guerillas'... Blinking his eyes, he took a real good look at the girl who was his daughter. He got to really notice what it was about her eyes. They were Feral. This girl was definitely cat-like. "Is that because of me learnign the Neko-Ken?" Ranma thought critically.
Britanny squirmed in place as Ranma was staring at her He barely flinched when he was hit across the jaw. That act alone slightly impressed Britanny. "Maybe he's a superhero like Miracle..." Britanny thought.
Finally, Ranma decided to break the suspense. Sitting up, Ranma walked over to Britanny. He then got on one knee so he was closer to her eye-level. "Hey, Britanny."
"Hi, Mister..." Britanny, said, unsure of herself.
"Britanny." Julia said, "I think you'll be happy to meet this man."
Britanny blinked her eyes. "Oh? Who is he, mommy?"
Ranma and cringed. 'Mommy'? Did this mean this woman was the one that got Ranma's sperm sample. Then he wanted to slap himself as he remmebered that they ADOPTED her. "Sigh, only 5 minutes I find out I'm a father, and I'm jumpy as all hell..."
Ranma then noticed Julia was looking at him intently. He could tell that she wanted Ranma to break the news to her. Swallowing his pride, Ranma spoke. "Hello, Britanny. I'm your father."
