... A book called, "Universal Adventures: Beyond the Frontiers". It had strange soldiers and monsters on it that were obviously set in the far future. But what stuck out the most was the fact that the old flag of Imperial Japan was being held by a soldier leading others while charging towards a Rancor-like creature much taller than them. Also on the cover was a blue man with four arms, two containing laser swords and the other one a laser pistol fighting an army of cyborgs. Above the two images, there was a battle between several battleships shooting each other with giant lasers. Looking at the cover alone, Shinji could tell this would be a very promising game...
