He'd never quite forgiven Ranma, the jerk, Like really, just because he let Beryl influence him!
Usagi needed to get it in her head that the old "Moon Princess is Boss" bit just Didn't Wash...
Besides, he has every right to angst her and such till she de-ditzes (Ranma no Jerk), after all, she DID kill his Mom, even if she WAS a psycho after "Great Serendipity" locked her away for a few millenia!
{Not all this is wrong or distorted, as Mamoru is 1) The reincarnation of Endymion, Prince of Earth and **SON** of Queen Beryl, and 2) in perfect retention of memories and facts he'd gleamed from the shadows when the senshi babbled after the battles.}
{Beryl was as bad as the senshi were taught, but the Moon Kingdom weren't that good either, it was just another system, and as long as people have lives, the leadership will tend to suck in at least a few respects.}

{It doesn't matter much now, as while Mamoru was understandably bitter, he WAS skilled at costuming, and bishonen enough to make a pretty HOT:}
