They were so focused on Ranma's imitation of a male Lina Inverse that they almost missed the upcoming robbery. Fortunately Nabiki was inured to Ranma's eating habits.
"Those people are dressed kind of oddly for nice hot summer day with no rain, aren't they?" Nabiki asked, pointing to two people. Everybody's attention was now rivetted on the two men in trench coats sauntered up to the cash register.
Rally quietly cocked her pistol under the table and stood up as if heading for the bathroom. Ranma stood up and took his empty plate to the buffet line.
"Stay here May," Rally said. "This is no time for one of your bombs." Then to Ranma she added. "Watch yourself, kid, this is no game."
"I know that," Ranma said seriously.
"You got it covered?" May asked. Rally and Ranma exchanged a look and nodded. May reluctantly sat back down and turned to Nabiki for some conversation. "So was it you are miss Hermaphrodite that popped Rally's cherry?"
Nabiki blushed bright red at that, not used to being on the other end of the sexual innuendo. And actually...she remembered before they got Ranma changed to male, that she had taken both "cherries."
"Shut up May," Nabiki said.
