This in mind Nabiki was beginning to demand more skin from Ranma whenever he sought money from her. Ranma had barely escaped their last 'session' with her bikini.

Knowing how far the ruthless Tendo daughter would expect him/her to go, Ranma...

• Realised (s)he had to find another way to round up cash for Ukyo's gift.
• Decided to tell Nabiki that (s)he'd only show as much as Nabiki was willing to show.
• Accepted that (s)he'd pretty much given up any dignity she had left already, and would accept Nabiki's demands for even 'more skin'.
• Thought that maybe Akane would lend him the money, having of course forgotten that Akane and Ukyo share the same birthday.
• Made a quick trip to a local underground fighting ring to earn some easy cash.
• Thought that (s)he could make up for the lack of a tangible gift to Ukyo by going on a date with her.
