And Now for something completely Different: A real American hero...in Japan ^^; [Episode 29061]

The personal of G.I.Joe finally all settled in and waited, a few minutes later General Hawk walked out in front them and looked around. After a moment he began speaking. "As you all know Cobra has been rather quiet lately. Some in the upper ranks would like to think that Cobra Commander has given up. Well we all know how likely THAT is."

The general paused as a light chuckle swept the room, and then continued. "And unfortunately we're right. We have recently uncovered intel concerning what Cobra's next plot is. It seems Cobra commander has put a lot of emphasis on one particular area of the globe."

Hawk gestured to the screen behind him which lit up into an over head view of the nation of Japan. "We have gotten permission of the Japanese government to place operatives to counter Cobra. Unfortunately we will be constrained by the laws of the country. The good news is that Cobra apparently wants this operation to be under the radar, so they will probably be operating under similar conditions. As it is we can't bring in any heavy hardware or firearms into the country unless we locate a major Cobra base. Thus for this mission we shall mainly be choosing Joe's who have a high degree of Hand to Hand and martial weapons prowess. Snake eyes, Scarlet, Jinx, and Nunchuck will be inserted into Japan. Lady Jaye will accompany you and be in overall command. The rest of us Joe's will be on standby, either at the Okinawa military base or here in order to provide you with intel or deal with other situations."

Hawk waited till each member of the insertion team had nodded their understanding of the situation. "Very good. Now lets get down to the nitty gritty. Our sources have indicated that Cobra is..."

• "Very interested in a new Archeological discovery in Japan. Our team will be acting as guards there. To facilitate that a fellow black ops agency, Section 13 has offered to let us use their own personal archeologist. Although Captain Black did mention something about calling his Uncle in case of.. magic? and something about not being able to avoid his niece..."(JCA)
• "Looking into reports of Youma and Daimon in the Juuban district. We believe them to be some sort of bio weapon program if they exist at all. Also there are rumors of vigilante's fighting these bio-weapons.... apparently while clad in cheerleader outfits. Don’t ask me, that’s what the intel says."(SM)
• "Going on a recruitment drive after some impressive martial artists in Nerima. We have some good news and some bad news. Apparently there is one martial artist by the name of Ranma Saotome that is of particular value to Cobra. The bad news, somehow the Baroness seems to be engaged to Ranma, allowing Cobra to get close. The good news is that oddly enough Ranma has several other fiancées arranged by his father, one of which happens to be Jinx. We’ll use the idea of ‘getting to know’ Ranma as your cover”
• "Looking for something called 'Shikon Shards'. We're not sure exactly what they are, but do know they are scattered about Japan and apparently were responsible for a incident that caused the disappearance of several firefighters and civilians, witnesses claimed they were devoured by a mask on a black amorphous body. We believe they suffered some sort of hallucinatory episode. I think we should start our investigation at the temple where the disappearances were first noted."(InuYasha)
