Kodachi had, as yet, only briefly intersected the path of Ranma. She hadn't done much since that disastrous rhythmic gymnastics match between Furinkan and Saint Hebereke's, mainly because she'd come down fairly hard on her butt and it was still sore.
Oddly enough, her interpretation of the ninja report was different from her brother's.
"So my darling Ranma is actually an epic hero who shall embark out to save the world?" Kodachi took out a gymnastics club to proudly proclaim. "It is the duty of those of our station to rescue the peasantry. Not incidently giving me time with my Ranma!"
"So the foul sorcerer doth conspire with speaking cats to oppose some evil even greater than himself?" Tatewaki Kuno mused. "No doubt to betray Akane and the pigtailed goddess at some future point."
"Actually I think Saotome was gibbering in terror in the corner," observed Sasuke.
"Very well then, if this proves to be true, we shall have to mobilize the vast Kuno wealth to defend ourselves."
"Brother dear, the papers have been telling about these monster attacks for at least two weeks now. Without anyone opposing them they have been quite open," Kodachi informed her brother. "Now perhaps they must deal with the Black Rose!"
"Oh brother," said Sasuke.
