"Yes, and perhaps we could start with that very interesting gem in your chest there," Setsuna said. "It is giving off some rather odd energies."
"That's the Jasper," Onoli said. "It is mine, as the leader of the Edge Guard. It is an old magic that we do not know much of."
"I seem to recognize it..." Setsuna said. "We had such artifacts in the Silver Millenium as well. What does this one do?"
"I do not know all of it's powers," Onoli said. "Our last leader died rather suddenly. Before he could tell me all he knew of it."
"I understand," Setsuna said. She reached over, frowning. She started to reach out a hand and then stopped. "Do you mind?"
"Uhh...mind...uh," Onoli's mind was momentarily derailed by the image of the attractive woman, princess even, reaching out to touch his chest. Then he realized what she was talking about before she could realize what it looked and sounded like. "No, go ahead."
Setsuna nodded and reached out to touch the gem and then gasped in surprise.
"There are...souls inside," she said.
"Yes, many of the previous Edge Guard," Onoli said. "I had a friend who's soul was drawn in accidentally. She described it as a paradise of libraries and peace."
"So, that is where you go when you die?" Setsuna said.
"Don't your people have anything similar?" Onoli asked.
"We're reincarnated," Setsuna said. "Though at times the process is...helped along by outside forces."
"You?" he asked.
"No, I've merely lived through the times," Setsuna said. "But the rest of the Senshi were all reborn to repeat their previous lives."
"Lived through the times," Onoli repeated. "You said it was thousands of years ago." Setsuna nodded. "You spent all that time just waiting for the others?"
"Yes," Setsuna said.
"Alone?" Onoli asked.
"Well, mostly," Setsuna said. "I travelled, I studied. I prepared for the coming of the others."
"Any family?" Onoli asked. Setsuna laughed.
"If I'd had any children there'd be a new Sailor Pluto by now," Setsuna declared in good humor. "I've never really had...time for anything else."
"Hmmm," Onoli said. "Maybe you just never met the right somebody."
Setsuna's eyes widened fractionally as he said that, and then Onoli realized what that, and the rest of the conversation, sounded like suddenly. Then he stammered and turned away from her surprised expression.
"P...p...perhaps we should discuss our enemies," Onoli said.
"Yes! Yes, of course," Setsuna said quickly. "We should exchange information about how we should be dating."
"What?" Onoli asked.
"I mean...how we should be mating," Setsuna "corrected" herself. Onoli's face seemed to have been frozen solid. "I mean...whom we should fighting."
Thankfully, Rei came in at that point.
"Sorry I left you alone," Rei said wearily. "I had to explain certain things to that tiger you brou..." Rei sniffed at the air. "That smells familiar."
"What smells familiar?" Onoli asked nervously. Matoko and her lovers came in then.
"What's that smell?" Matoko asked.
"Pheromones," Sheila said looking around.
"I don't see Furry Moon here," Ranma said. "Oh, there she is."
"We're here!" Usagi said as she came in with Mamoru then she crinkled her nose. "Rei...what's with the smell in here?"
"I'm sorry I'm late," Ami said as she entered, her mother walking in behind her. "Mom insisted on com...it smells sort of like the Tendo dojo did that day. Not nearly as strong though...Curious. Oh...I see, Matoko is already here."
Setsuna and Onoli were trying to disappear.
"Hello!" Hotaru cheered as she came into the room. "Haruka-mama and Michiru-mama are coming. This tiger tried to grab their buts or something."
"Oh gee," Carla said as she walked in with Gar and Luan. "I thought we washed that smell off."
"Perverted male," Haruka muttered as she walked in. Then she looked around.
"What are looking for, love?" Michiru asked.
"Minako," Haruka said. "Considering the smell here she's got to be around somewhere."
"Oh yes," Michiru said. "I noticed that."
Setsuna was considering taking a hybrid form just to hide the blush on her face. Needless to say, bringing up the situation repeatedly only made her think more about the situation and thus, continuing producing Pheromones, just like Onoli.
"I thought we were supposed to be discussing something important," Thropan said as he came in. "Because if Dr. Diggers hear's I skipped out for a group date..."
"Whoa!" Tirga said as he walked in. "Gee, babe, you're practically in heat. And what's with the green stripes? Oh wait, sorry Onoli, don't mean to step on your tail or anything."
All eyes turned to face Setsuna and Onoli, who looked as if they were both trying to shrink by force of will as well as considering destroying Tirga with all means at their disposal.
"Excuse me!" Setsuna said, recovering her normal demeanor. "We have things to discuss. Where's Minako?" Ami produced her communicator and attached it to the Mercury computer, which produced a hologram of the missing Werecheetah.
"Hey everybody!" Minako said. "I'm in Atlanta, so I guess we have to video conference this...and wow...hey, who's gotten SETSUNA so flushed?" For some reason, all Minako needed was a visual cue.
"Can we get on with this?" Setsuna asked.
