Akane quickly explained that a) she was really tired now and would have to return to her djinni prison (currently a tattoo on Ranma's left arm) and b) had used a teleport on Tatewaki Kuno that put him on the top of Ayer's Rock in Australia. Which was just about her limit at present.
"So, uhm, what kinda genie powers do ya got?" asked Ranma, thinking about his curse.
Akane's eyes widened as the information appeared in her head. "I am a djinni of fire, with power over fire and heat in all its forms. I can generate flame, control it, quench it, and shape it. Beyond that I can fly, teleport, translate languages, and other minor commands. There's a problem with the wish-granting interface, apparently there is a strong chaos gradient here in Nerima that will 'monkey paw' wishes. There's some other stuff about granting wishes, but it looks like it was written by a lawyer and I'm having trouble sorting through all the clauses and subclauses."
"So no immediate cure for Jusenkyo curses," guessed Ranma.
"No, but I can carry a teapot and heat it up whenever you want to change back," said Akane with a yawn. "Sorry, I have to rest after sending Kuno away."
The rest of the family stared at Ranma as Akane turned to a red mist and was sucked inside his tattoo.
