Ranma Saturn-Jurai: Tree Dreams [Episode 30379]

For all the world it looked like Sasami was having a peaceful nap in the shade of the tree names Funho.  Her astral self, however, was floating in dreamspace with her other self.  The two halves of her soul, Tsunami and Sasami, might be imagined to be coiled in a double fetal position forming a yin-yang pattern.

They were having a deep and meaningful communion, so get those ecchi thoughts right out of your head!

"Are you sure it is not a dream about Tenchi?" Tsunami asked as she reviewed her younger self's vague dream about the pigtailed boy.  "I can see a certain resemblance."

"Maybe," Sasami thought doubtfully.  "But what about the other girl?  She is not like the other girls persuing onii-chan"

"Quiet, shy and withdrawn," Tsunami observed with agreement, "oh, no, she is not like your playmates at all."

"So what is the dream about?" Sasami asked.  "It felt different to a foretelling.  It was almost like a memory."

"I remember nothing like that," Tsunami observed, "yet there was something about that dream.  But if it is a foretelling, then we are destined to meet these people.  I would not worry about it.  All will be revealed in time."

"I cannot help worrying," Sasami replied and held Tsunami's hand to her metaphorical heart.  "I feel such a pain here when I think about them."

"Like your heart is breaking," Tsunami replied.  "Perhaps they are the ones..."

"The ones?" Sasami asked.

"The ones just for us," Tsunami answered softly.  "The ones just for you, and the other you."

"The ones just for me?" Sasami wondered, "me and the other me ...."

Sasami awoke filled with peace and she knew what to do.  The ones just for her were out there somewhere, and she had to find them.  If only she knew where to start.

Meanwhile, the only one who really knew what was going on was:

• Setsuna, who'd seen an alternative to letting most of the world freeze to death and was going for it.
• Future Setsuna, who was prepared to preserve her existance at all costs.
• Future and Alternate-Future Setsuna who's arguments were giving present Sestuna a headache of epic proportions.
• Diana, Moon Kitten from the future, who was fighting for love, justice and cuddles.
• Akane, who had somehow preremebered the whole thing.  But first she had to deal with Tatewaki and his stupid dating challenge.
• Someone else.
