"AAARRRGGGHHH !!! Ranma Saotome, you'll pay for abandoning me ! Royalty or not, I'll have my vengeance and kill you !!!"
If she had been in Nerima, such an outburst would have not been taken seriously and been mostly ignored. In fact, the people in the street only stared at her in incomprehension since no one here spoke japanese (except for Ranma and Genma).
Unfortunately, Ranguard was a typical dungeons & dragons setting where death threats are not to be uttered lightly. Especially in front of an officer of the law who happens to be a beholder. Especially when the subject of said threats had been the target of several assassination attempts in the past.
"Ach ! Now, lass... Ye're under arrest. Surrender yer weapons and come quietly with me or else..." The beholder guard closed his main eye, ready to act.
Ukyo suddenly realized what she had done and panicked. She drew her big badass spatula and tried to bash the floating globe in front of her to escape. The beholder dodged and struck with one of his eye rays.
Fortunately for Ukyo, that beholder was, like all the others of his kind in Ranguard, a faithful of Tennyson, a beholder deity that advocated 'Live and let live' as a way of life. A normal beholder would have used his disintegrate or flesh to stone rays to deal with her. Instead of that gruesome solution, Ukyo Kuonji was currently taking a nap on the street, courtesy of a sleep beam.
Only a moment later, other city guards arrived at the site of the commotion. The okonomiyaki chef was taken into custody and thrown in a dank, dark dungeon cell. Soon a telepath, a cleric or a mage would be called to 'interrogate' her.

"La la la la... Oh, Ranma, tonight, I will show how much I love you !" Darla Lamstrand practically sauntered in her room, trying different outfits, hoping to find the perfect attire for the occasion "I learned all these ballads and love songs, just for you ! My love will use my music and voice to reach for your heart !"
She turned to her big sister Elyas (Ezra Vieil in another reality) for advice. The healer was happily married to a royal messenger since last year and was pregnant with their first child "What do you think ?"
"Why, it's very nice, dear. But maybe you should ease up on the pink and the lace..."

Mera Alstar had found a dance teacher but she wasn't out of the woods yet.
"No, no, no ! Not like this !"
"What are you trying to do !? Trample my feet to death !?!"
"For the deities' sake ! Maybe this move is nice to kill monsters and evil things but this is NOT something to use on the dance floor !"
"Why me !? What have I done to deserve such an ungraceful, stubborn and clumsy student !?"
Mera's eyebrow twitched. Patience was a virtue but this guy was getting on her nerves.

Jhaelrnya looked at herself in the mirror. It was well-known that the clerics of Eilistraee weren't prudes but her present outfit stretched their sense of decency. She smiled, pleased at her appearance.
"Just you wait, prince Ranma ! I, Jhaelrnya Seerear, will sweep you off your feet tonight (and all night, hehehe...). I shall be your bride and queen !!! OHOHOHOHOHOHO !!!"

"Curses !" Alaethe Moondown looked at the charred shoes in the middle of the magic circle in her laboratory. She pulled another pair from a bag right next to her "This time for sure !"

Belith wasn't sure about these dress things but she had confidence in her dancing skills. She was one of the best in the tribe for ritual dances. Taking a cue from Jhaelrnya, she had decided that 'the more skin shows, the better'. Tonight, she would claim her mate !

Myrrath was also trying to learn to dance in her elven form in only one afternoon. She was more successfull than Mera but had trouble controlling her draconic strength. She was at her third instructor already.
