Snow Cabin: Storm Shelter [Episode 30487]

If there was any way to tell if the sun was setting, nothing in the forest knew it. Low lying clouds were releasing snow in waves of white sheets that did not let any see much further than an arm's length ahead. The sound of silence echoed through the wooded area while all the animals had hunkered down for the duration of the storm, however long it lasted.

The only human habitation around was a single cabin, its walls the only shelter for a person seeking refuge from the cold weather. And inside the small structure, there were only two people, one male, one female.

On a couch sat the woman, her body bundled up with a thick blanket and her attention on her male partner.

Said man was crouched before the fireplace, blowing his breath into his hands. Then he reached for the tools at his feet and poked the logs sitting in the small alcove. Pulling out some matches from his coat, he lit one and threw it upon the pile of wood. A small fire started and he used a poker to push around the wood until it spread enough, and then he glanced over his shoulder.

"I got the fire started. So now all that we have to do is wait for them to come get us," said:
