She had to take this lightly, because, well, this was more her and Kodachi's thing than Sander's. As for Konatsu, apparently he...err she had whatever tastes would suit her.
"Now where were we, love?" Ukyou asked.
"We is ambushing stupid dogs," a familiar voice said. Ukyou turned about toward the voice to see Kodachi standly stiffly in the doorway.
"Who else is there?" Ukyou asked sharply. And Kodachi was virtually pushed forward by a familiar form.
"An friend of ours," Kodachi said tightly.
Shampoo was a were-cat, as in house-cat, not any of the great cats. She wasn't any larger than she had every been before, though she definitely would be packing a lot more strength and agility into the small frame, along with a cat-form that could ALMOST match a were-rat for stealth.
The reason for Kodachi's stiffness was easily noticeable by the burned stab into her shoulder and the silver dagger held an inch from her throat.
Ukyou growled, there were two kinds of injuries. The kind that was exhilirating that came from her and Kodachi's carefully controlled games and the incidental injuries that came through enjoying life to the fullest. And then there were the kind of injuries that were serious and truly harmful.
She growled low in her throat.
"No move," Shampoo said. "Or one less doggie." Several other figures filed in behind Shampoo, forming a line. About six other werecats, all female, and all carrying silver weapons. Shampoo turned her eyes toward where Sander was twisting his bonds. "That goes for stupid male too, Shampoo no idiot to think those ropes hold you."
"Shampoo!" Konatsu protested. "Ukyou is mine! The master promised." As she spoke one of the were-cat girls was untying her.
"You is doing good job so far," Shampoo said snidely. She nodded her head and one of the cats stepped forward holding a cold-blue collar. "You like collars, Spatula-girl? You wear collar, then you serve master, we leave mates alone."
"Don't Ukyou-sama," Kodachi said. Then she gritted her teeth in pain as Shampoo set the dagger against her throat.
"Sound like it really hurt," Shampoo said. "Maybe make her all excited. She like pain yes?"
Ukyou eyed the approaching collar cautiously as Konatsu waited expectantly. Behind her Sander was tensed and ready to move given any opportunity. He got it.
The window shutters of Ukyou's bedroom were smashed inward drawing all eyes toward it.
Kodachi utilized the distraction to slip into her smaller human form and slide out of Shampoo's distracted grip even as Sander and Ukyou moved to attack the nearest of Shampoo's werecat minions.
Sander lashed out at Konatsu, only to find the kitsune rather slippery. The werecat made a clumsy move to attack with a silver dagger and found herself slammed into unconsciousness a moment later.
Ukyou, meanwhile, destroyed the collar she'd been offered with a well-placed claw before sweeping at the were-cat holding it with a clumsy unarmed attack that the cat wisely stepped back to avoid.
"What have you allied yourself with granddaughter?" a crackling old voice demanded.
"With power that can save Amazon honor!" Shampoo declared before yelling something. A moment later all the werecats left, along with Konatsu.
"Sorry, Ukyou-sama," Konatsu said. "Umm, I'll see you later, okay? Master must want me to do something."
"Ninja-girl move it!" Shampoo snapped. And in the next instant they were gone, vanished into the allies.
"Oh, Koda-chan!" Ukyou gasped, rushing to the other werewolf's side.
"Kodachi," Sander said, joining Ukyou at the injured were's side. "Are you all right?"
"Those ideas about adding silver to the menu, Ukyou-sama," Kodachi said with a hoarse voice. "Let's not."
"Fine, fine!" Ukyou said. "Are you okay?"
"Let me through," Cologne snapped and came forward to inspect the girl's wounds. She looked over them for a moment, handling the human-form were tenderly. "She'll be fine. I know of some herbal remedies that will help."
A groan indicated that the werecat girl was waking up. Ukyou rushed angrily to her side and smashed her head in before raising a claw to put a permanent end to the other.
"Hold!" Cologne said. "Shampoo seems possessed of, or perhaps by, some magic other than lycanthropy and I suspect that power would enhance her control over those she infects. The girl probably has no choice in the matter."
"I know her," Ukyou said suddenly, recognizing the scent. "Yuka?"
