"You're next, Ice Queen," Mars spoke huskily. "Think you can keep your cool when the Master makes you his as well?"
"We'll do more than merely rut, if that's what you mean," replied Mercury frostily. "So much more than what mere animals can do." She gave a delicate sniff of disdain. "But then again, that's all you know how to do, isn't it?"
"Touche, Mercury," Mars remarked. "Touche." The Dark Genie would have said more, but something interrupted their conversation.
Their Master and their Host, Ranma, had picked himself off of Saturn's sleeping body and had leaned back on his arms to rest and recover. The bonding process with Saturn had taken over an hour, and he needed to recover his energy reserves. This was all so new to him. This body and its urges, this stronger connection he shared with Mars and now Saturn, it was all so overwhelming.
His bond with Mars had given him all these feelings that were so strong and wild, and then the bond with Saturn had filled him with a strange determination. To let nothing stand in his way. To crush all opposition. All these urges and demands had driven him to assert his dominance over his Genies. It was exhilarating, in a way. And it was also kind of scary. Ranma wasn't sure he liked what was happening to him anymore.
The light of the afternoon sun was slowly fading from the window. Mars and Ranma had teleported into the love hotel in the late afternoon, and now, night was falling outside. Nobody had bothered them in all the time they spent in the room; Mars's magic had taken care of that. Passion, or lack thereof, was her province. Anyone passing by the door to their room had no urge to examine it. The four of them were free to explore these new bonds between them.
But with the disappearance of the last ray of sunlight, something happened. With Ranma. He started glowing; a strange tingling went through his body as the strange light engulfed him. Then, the glow was gone. Leaving behind a female Ranma. Bery's curse had returned.
