One could understand the chef's sentiment.
*Whoosh!**CRASH!*
"Ow... that hurt."
"Really, Ukyo?" growled Akane sarcastically, "I hadn't noticed."
"I was just muttering Akane."
"Yeah, well... where are we?"
"I don't know sugar, but I'm pretty sure it ain't Oz."
The trio were in what looked to have been a magnificent city once. What were grand and beautiful buildings were now just so much ruin. Broad avenues were choked by weeds and debris. And it was obvious that this place was empty all but shadows.
"So, what do we do now?" asked Akane.
"Shampoo don't care what we do, just do it fast."
"Why should we?"
"That," replied the pointing Amazon.
"What are you... eep..."
'That' was vaugely in the shape of a man, if that man was stooped over from something other than age. Great bat-wings rose from its back and there were wicked claws on its hands and feet. It had a hideous face, almost as if some one had melded a human's with a reptile's.
And it looked cranky.
"This is not good," said Akane.
"What ever gave you that idea?" muttered Ukyo nervously.
"Shampoo think it that it time we do something or we look like Pervert Girl's cooking."
"HEY!" yelled said 'Pervert Girl'.
At the yell, the creature launched itself into the air of Myth Drannor and the girls decided to:
