Lust Dust: Spiritual Battles [Episode 31983]

by Dacl73

Cologne raced toward the Tendo Dojo hoping she was not too late.  She couldn't let the side effects of the lust dust effect Ranma and Akane or all her plans for Ranma would be for not.  She was half way there when she felt a shift in the spiritual energies of Nerima and she knew that she as too late.

Ranma and Akane awoke on the spiritual plane.  They saw into the very depths of each other's souls, they learned the others fears, hopes, dreams, feelings, and even seen some of each other's memories.

For Akane she saw that the reason he never told the other fiancées that he didn't love them was because of his fear of rejection and of being alone.  She saw how noble he was, she saw that he wasn't a pervert, she felt how much he loved her.  His memories of her malleting him flashed through her mind and she cried.

Ranma felt her fear of men brought about by Kunou and the hentai brigade's attacks before he stopped them.  He felt her confusion at her desire for both his forms, and many times he felt her confusion at why she had gotten angry.  He could sense a darkness inside of her that forced her to get angrier and angrier, often for no reason she could see.

The darkness separated from Akane and took on a vaguely human shape of pure shadow.  It formed it’s hand into a whip-like tentacle and sent it toward Ranma's spirit.  When it struck him, Ranma screamed in pain as he felt like he was being burned, frozen, stabbed, and electrocuted at the same time.

The Spirit of the Neko-ken sensing a threat to it’s host and his mate also separated from Ranma’s Spirit.  It took the form of a Dire-tiger.  As big as a horse, with sabre-toothed teeth; bony plates on the top of it’s head, the back of it’s paws, and along it’s spine; it’s claws were twice the size they should be for it’s body.

The Neko-ken leaped at the creature, which it knew to be a mid-low level demon that feeds on anger.  The demon whipped at it with it’s tentacle but the Neko-ken twisted to the side at the last moment and ploughed into the Demon.  The Neko-ken slashed at the demon, and while the demon was more powerful then the Neko-ken spirit the demon wasn’t a combative type, it was a corruptor.  It twisted humans so they only could feel anger and hate and fed on those emotions.  The Neko-ken however was a cat-spirit born for physical and spiritual combat.

The demon knew it was losing and in a last act of spite sent a black lightning shaped blast of dark spiritual energy at Akane meaning to kill her.  Ranma heroically threw him self in the path of the blast hoping to shield her from it.  It was futile however as the blast ripped into Ranma’s spirit and flowed around him into Akane.  With that the demons spirit was scattered to the winds of the astral plane.  Only a Demon Lord, powerful Archmage, or lesser god could restore the demon, and none of them would likely do so for a demon of it’s power.

The Neko-ken looked at his host and is his host mate; both were dying from the demon's last act.  Their Spirits were torn and weakened and the Neko-ken knew only one way to save them.  The Neko-ken started to infuse them with it’s energies, slowly Ranma and Akane healed as the Neko-ken faded from existence.  The it’s energy entered them both of their spirits and bodies changed and the Neko-ken’s last act before merging with them completely was to shape what their bodies would become.

Hours later Ranma and Akane awoke changed, they had become….
