Ranma in Tomobiki: What?! Lum's Leaving?! [Episode 31999]

"Darling..."

Lum sniffs back a fresh bout of tears as her eyes fall on a picture posted beside her UFO's main viewscreen. It was of Ataru, of course, taken in one of the few times the Oni princess could get her reluctant "husband" to sit still for a moment. One of the few times when it seemed as if all the pain and grief, all the anger and frustration, would eventually work out.

It hadn't. And now Lum was seriously contemplating the one thing she never thought she'd do in the wake of the First Tag Race:

Leave Earth and never return again.

Why?

Well, Ataru...

• ...had become much worse over the last while. It was as if he was goading Lum into either dumping him or killing him.
• ...had done something which had effectively broke whatever hold Lum -- through Ataru's parents, perhaps? -- had on him.
• ...had found another girl who not only was willing to respect him, but could drive Lum off for good. Is that even possible?
• ...had changed in such a way that thoroughly convinced Lum now that her Darling was lost to her forever.
• ...had done something else.
