Ranma shivered as he sat, his eyes wide and staring.
He wanted to close them. But that just made the problem... worse.
He was no stranger to curses. But this latest one (and it had to be a curse. There was no other explanation.) was pushing him past his limits.
He shuddered as it floated into his vision again, the cause of his problem. At least, the representation of it. An eyeball with small bat wings, and no eyelid. It floated around him constantly, and it let him see... things. Things he didn't want to see.
It wasn't really there, he knew. It was just another thing that now he could see, and others couldn't. Just like so many other things...
He'd spent the morning examining the others in a sort of sick fascination, when he'd gotten it in his head to look in the mirror at himself.
His normal eyes saw his own reflection.
The other eye... showed him something else on the other side of the glass.
Something that was looking back at him...
