Symbiont: The vengeance of Heaven is swift and painful (DARK) [Episode 32641]

by Jamil Nate

The first to react to Ranma's new appearance was Kodachi Kuno. She was going to an all-girls' catholic school and as such, was familiar with christian religious icons. She screamed in terror as the winged apparition made all her fears of being punished for her numerous sins resurface.

Ranma Saotome was now entirely covered in a black living metal armor with giant white-feathered wings in his back. He looked like a mad cross between an avenging angel of the scriptures and a nasty mecha from the recent trend of christian-inspired giant robot anime. Clawed hands, veins of blue energy running along his body and wings and blood red eyes visible through the visor of his horned helmet-like face... The fact that he was now floating above the ground added to the tableau.

All the Nerima crazies paused at the sight. In the Tendo house, Kasumi was pale and fervently prayed, fingering the crucifix on the necklace her mother gave her long ago. Nabiki had already fled by the backdoor.

The new fused being looked dispassionately at his enemies. His memories told him that they would soon regroup and attack him again. Yet enough of Ranma remained in his personality to keep him from killing them outright.

Another plan was found and adopted. Retreat for now but do enough lasting damage to discourage pursuit. A sword of raw flame (more like superheated plasma actually) materialized in his right hand and his battle aura flared to life, gold instead of blue. His rivals took it as proof of agressive intentions.

Kuno, Ryoga and Mousse charged. The chains the blind amazon threw at Ranma were sliced by invisible claws born from the Neko Ken. A direct punch to his face sent him crashing through the Tendo house, the dojo, the compound's walls and the neighbors' house.

Kuno came next, doing his multiple strike technique. Ranma dodged them easily and struck with his own blade.

Tatewaki Kuno was a samurai. Pain was a familiar and constant companion of his life. He was proud of his ability to shrug off punishment who would have killed lesser men. "That didn't hurt, you know" was one of his most used lines.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!"

All this didn't keep from screaming in pain when the plasma sword cut off his left arm at the shoulder. Lucky for him, the heat cauterized the wound and he wouldn't bleed to death. It was too much for him howeveer and he lost consciousness.

"YOU BASTARD !!!" Ryoga Hibiki was enraged. His punch was capable of powdering concrete and bend steel yet it was casually, casually !, caught in Ranma's own hand. His hated rival squeezed and his fist was utterly crushed. He screamed and jumped back, nursing his mangled hand. Light flooded his vision and he had no time to raise any kind of defence against the fiery ki blast Ranma sent him. The lost boy was caught into an explosion and his burned body bounced a few times before crashing in the Tendo house's porch.

Ranma focused his attention to the fathers and the fiancees. Genma and Soun had already run away. Kodachi was prostrated in a corner, babbling about being judged unworthy and burning in hell. Ukyo had retreated to the wall and looked at him with fear. Shampoo had fled too, probably to warn Cologne about this. Akane was coming out of her shock at his actions, looking ready to attack him.

Ranma took flight, dodging another mallet strike from the youngest Tendo daughter. His wings fully deployed and sent dozens of energized razor sharp metallic feathers as suppression fire in the Tendo courtyard. The following screams of pain assured him there would be no pursuit for a long time.

Ranma turned and launched himself in the sky like a fiery comet. His first priority was to find shelter and think about his options.
