"Here's the reason," said Honey after transforming once again to Techie Honey. "He's got them sorted in the computer by series, but they're also organized by 'heroes' and we're in the 'heroes' 'artificial life' section. Also, the displays are all messed up."
"Do you want to be one with me?" Rei Ayanami said without blinking.
Ifurita just smiled wistfully at her Master.
"That isn't the part I'm concerned about," said Ranma.
"Well, maybe I can get this fixed and... oh dear." Honey looked faintly ill.
"Why do I get the feelin' I ain't gonna like this?" Ranma asked of just anyone.
Battle Angel Alita considered this briefly before giving an answer. "Because you're prescient?"
"Nah, it just seems to be the way things are anymore," replied Ranma, who thought that 'prescient' probably meant smart or something.
"It looks like he recorded over information but never made any allowances for a backup of the original data," said Techie Honey.
"And this means?" Ranma wanted things down to the basics.
"They can't be turned back," Honey said. "Sorry."
sniffle
Ranma groaned. Bad to worse. Now he was being hit with the Sniffling Soulful Eyed Girl Attack. He hated that.
Which meant that now with no back up in sight, the villain around somewhere and possibly returning, and most likely the rest of the Urusei Yatsura girls around hunting for him, the "rescue party" now consisted of:
1) Ranma Saotome
2) Cutey Honey Kisaragi
3) Nuku Nuku (Atsuko) Natsume
4) Battle Angel Alita
5) Steel Angel Kurumi
6) Rei Ayanami
Hearing footsteps, the group turned to deal with:
