Ekuso Senshi: Has Genma's plan worked for once? [Episode 32765]

by Jasonred

Genma, better known in this reality as his alter ego, the Master Schemer, mused on his latest ploy, and it's evident, and unprecedented success.

As the Master Schemer, he had come up with elaborate scheme after elaborate scheme, each one more cunning than the one before. Unfortunatly, no matter what he did, every plan of his seemed to attract a horde of do-gooders, who would immediately do their utmost to foil his latest plot! It wasn't fair! Perhaps it was to be expected to have the Spider-Man stop him from enslaving New York, and it was obvious that S.H.I.E.L.D wouldn't stand for his plan to build a military base in Athens... but was it necessary for the entire roster of the Avengers to hunt him down during a Panty Raiding Operation for his Dark Master Happosai?

No, being a supervillian had it's perks, but it just called too much attention to you. So, he had come up with this latest ploy to take advantage of his civilian identity, which would hopefully draw no-one more powerful, than say, a policeman or two, or perhaps some concerned by-standers.

Actually, to be more honest, he had just been lounging around in his Gi when he had noticed Ranma trailing behind that boy Ryouga Hibiki, and felt himself compelled to follow. He had no idea what they were searching for, but the same instinct which allowed ANY villian of any caliber to be able to be at the right place at the right time to take advantage of unclaimed power guided him.

Which was how he had ended up inside the palace of Asgard itself.

Being a Super-Villian in his spare time, Genma had read up a little about these so called Gods, and he knew that there was definitely an opportunity here, if he could just find it. And, logically, he should go to the most powerful Asgardian here, Odin himself. Once he had managed to use the Umisenken to get past the guards and present himself before Odin, it had just been a matter of figuring out what his pitch was going to be, and smooth talking his way.

Several Crouch of Wild tigers later, Genma had Odin suitably amused to listen to his speech. The fact that his Gi and stealth techniques proclaimed him a warrior born helped too.

Genma had realized that, as someone who was also father to a mighty warrior, Odin would perhaps be looking for his son to produce heirs. But how could he do so if he were running around Earth all the time, doing this Hero business? Off course, Odin and Thor's sense of Justice and Responsibility would not allow negligence of Earth either. How would Thor ever find the time for courtship of some fine Asgardian lass, and marraige, and production of offspring? But Genma had the solution, perhaps... a substitute. Someone who was also worthy, in his own way, of wielding the Power Of Thor and protecting the realm of Midgard.

Odin had pondered for a moment. The plan had merit! Though brash, arrogant, and rude, this "Ranma" had many heroic qualities, both in physical accomplishments, and in character. In fact, he was not too far off from an immature version of Thor himself, before he had been sent to Earth! Perhaps this plan could work... though Odin immediately disregarded the rest of Genma's hair-brained contributions of how to "get Thor together with Sif by knocking them both out and dressing them in wedding garb." Although... perhaps if Thor had less power, and were easier to control, he MIGHT be manipulated into settling down quicker... yes, this had a chance of working.

And so, making use of Ranma's already latent empathic abilities, the bulk of Thor's power was transfered to him. Divine might, power over the storms themselves, even Mjolnir was hidden away in a Sub-Space pocket, from which Ranma-Thor would be able to draw it when needed. (the Midgardians called it Hammerspace, aptly enough...)

Genma sighed contentedly in his personal Spa. Evidently things were progressing well in the Romance Department in Asgard, and he had just received a large shipment of Godly Refreshments via Rainbow Bridge Delivery. More importantly, the original Thor had been a thorn in his side for far too long, foiling many of his plots for world domination. Having his son now filling that role would make things easier... even if he did have the same heroic tendencies as the original, surely Genma would be able to capitalise on his inexperience, AND the fact that he was his son, right?

But for now, some more of this Divine Venison... tasty...

Back at Professor Xavier's Mansion:

"Perhaps it is just coincidence that your mutant powers resemble those of Thor. After all, Superhuman Strength is a common result of the X-gene, and Storm has weather manipulation powers as well."

"Meh. I really don't care. Where's the food, I'm starving!"

The moments of peace and training in the mansion would only last so long. Elsewhere, hostlie forces were massing, and it would not be long before the existing members of the X-men would have to face the forces of:
