Her friends thought it wonderful. Usagi would pronounce that it was romantic and stare at her own boyfreind. Minako and Makoto would sigh over them and make comments about how they would love to have a 'hunk like that'. Ami spent her time clucking over them, while Rei offered good luck talismans, and ritual blessings.
It was her family that scared him however. Her 'father' would spend her time glaring at him and telling him that he better treat Hotaru well as she was shining a katana. Michiru would look down her nose at him disapprovingly all the time. And then there was Setsuna who treated him like he had done some grevious harm to something. Or the tanned woman would smirk as if she knew some big joke about him that he would be mortified that he knew about.
Still, he was sure that he would not undo it for the simple fact that neither Hotaru nor the baby deserved something like that. They were innocents and she was a kind and sweet girl, and he found that he liked her at the very least. But at the moment he didn't have the time to figure out how much he loved her, though he was certain that it was a LOT.
