A smile smile crept up onto Naoko's face. She recognized the man quite easilly. The majority of people that had come to Charlie's always seemed to have a story or have been in an encounter with this man. They always told of this man performing the most fantastic, inhuman feats.
Walking up to the man with a menu in her arms, Naoko said, "Good evening, sir. Welcome to Charlie's Bar & Grill. Do you prefer smoking or non-smoking?"
"Depends." The man said. "Never been here before. To be honest, I thought it was just a rumor. What do you suggest?"
Naoko nodded her head. "Well, the large den where we have a nice roaring fire in the stone fireplace is the non-smoking area. The smoking area is all around the bar."
The man smirked. "Funny. You keep a fire in the non-smoking section?"
Naoko smirked. "It was Charlie's idea. If they weren't smoking, he'd want them to feel some warmth."
"Understood." The man said. "I'll take a seat by the bar, if you don't mind."
"Not at all." Naoko said as she lead the man over to the bar. He promptly sat down in a bar stool and she placed the menu before him on the counter-top. She watched as the man looked it over.
"Hmm..." The man said after a moment. "I'm curious, so tell me... What are the specials for today?"
Without a stop, Naoko explained, "Our specials from the bar are a fine Caribbean juice mix margarita, and the House Brew, "Charlie's Chug". Our specials for today's meal are either a choice of the freshest tuna steak in a nice tomato vinegarette, a nice spicy salsa chicken quesidilla, or the finest prepared steam vegetable medley with your choice of dressings."
The man nodded his head. "Sounds very good. Not sure what I want."
Naoko nodded her head. "Well, I guess I'll give you more time to look over the menu. Ask Sonoda for whatever you may want to drink. We'll even start a tabe for you if you want:
