"The what?" Ranma asked.
"The Age of Magic," Mercury repeated. "The time in which I and my sisters were born. There is something familiar....oh dear..."
"What?" Ranma asked nervously.
"Perhaps we should turn..." Mercury was interrupted by loud, keening scream. "Perhaps we should run!!" And with that the genie grabbed her master and started running back the way they came.
"What is that!" Ranma demanded eagerly.
"It is a ghost," Mercury said. "A spirit sealed her long ago before this castle was built."
"Well," Ranma said. "Why don't we fight it!"
"I remember this particular demon," Mercury said. "My powers are useless agaisnt it, Saturn is too weak to fight right now, and Mars...is-"
Let me out, Mars demanded. This time I won't merely seal her.
"Don't listen to her," Mercury said. "All we must do is get out of this crypt and...oh dear..." A white form, like a withered old woman appeared and started to glare towards the genie and her mistress. "Don't look at her!"
Ranma felt herself shoved away from the horrific appearance the very sight of which sent a chill through her body. She suddenly felt overlarge, clumsy and weak. In terror she decided.
"Mars!" she called out. This time Mercury felt the chill as the corrupted genie flowed out of the ring in all the glory of her new, darker nature.
Ranma couldn't see the ghost, as Mercury sheilded her view of the demon. So she didn't see the insane face of the ghost pause in concern at the sight of Dark Warrior Genie Mars.
"Hello Imaziel," Mars said in a sultry tone. "I've come to finish what I was too soft hearted to do in the past age."
The crypt was filled with a blinding red light for a moment, and then all was quiet.
Ranma peeked out past Mercury and saw that the ghost was gone, but the darkly, beautiful warrior genie turned to face her master and the Mercury with a scowl as she looked over Ranma.
"You let her look," Mars accused.
Ranma looked down at her body, it was actually larger and curvier, but at the same time, much weaker. She felt like her muscles had been wringed out.
"You want to fight me, Mercury?" Mars has no desire to hurt Ranma but decides to fight anyway.
"You want to fight me, Mercury?" Mars does seek to hurt Ranma.
