[Episode 33573] [Episode 33573]She could survive for undetermined years without sleep and with minimal sustenance. The long years, however, were made longer by such a practice, and Setsuna's long stewardship was finally tiring on her strong spirit.
It was likely that Usagi or Minako would have caught on to her fatigue soon at any rate and forced her into some relaxation. But then this whole situation sprang up and things were brought to ahead.
Which was how she ended up in the Diggers' hotel suite and sharing a bed with a certain werelion.
And, as she lay there asleep, the weariness of long years alone could be seen in her countenance, slowly blowing away with each tender breath.
Onoli was already awake and gently holding the tall slender tigress close to him under the blankets. This had been something of a surprise, really. He hadn't known this woman long and already he felt a great connection with the green-striped Princess of Pluto. And what's more.
As Setsuna shifted closer to him in her sleep, seeking to further close the microscopic space between them, Onoli marvelled at the situaion.
Setsuna's hybrid form was as elegant and exquisite as her preferred human form. The stripes of vibrant green against her red and white fur were truly as lovely as any woman he'd seen. And she understood him, was quite like him indeed. Duty and discipline were very important to them both.
But last night had been about neither of those. Rather, last night had been about a needed release from duty and finding solace in someone else. About abandoning discipline to passion for a time.
And that is what brought them together, a need for a space to rest, recover and recharge.
Then came the quite knock on the door.
"Onoli," Julia Diggers' voice, she'd come back from Atlanta late last night Onoli guessed. "Sorry to interrupt, but we have problems you two might want to hear."
Onoli nodded silently at the closed door.
"I hear, Mrs. Diggers," Onoli said. He sighed reluctantly and looked down at the still sleeping Setsuna and was amused by how heavily she slept. "We'll be there soon."
And he reluctantly set himself to waking her up.
