"Usagi! I've had enough of this joke! Let us out!"
In the kitchen of the new Saotome home, a picnic basket rested upon a countertop. It was the size of a normal picnic basket, but it was anything but a normal picnic basket. As demonstrated when it shook itself from time to time.
"This isn't funny anymore! Girls? Girls? Girls!"
On one side of the picnic basket, there was a large red cross, a universal symbol for a first aid kit. On the other side, there was a sign that read 'USE IN CASE OF EMERGENCY'.
"I'm warning you, Usagi! If you don't let me out of this thing-"
Once unlock the latched top, you would find inside bandages, antibiotics, gauze, and other assorted medical supplies. There were even antivenom shots for allergic reactions to bee stings and spider bites. Ami Mizuno came prepared whenever the Sailor Senshi went on vacation.
"-watch out when you sleep tonight, I'll-"
Recently, when the girls started associating with the Saotome family, something new was added to the emergency kit. Granted, it had started out as a quick fix to a situation, when the girls found out about Hotaru's fiance/husband having a fear of cats for the first time. They had hidden the two cats away, inside of the basket containing the first aid supplies to keep them out of sight. Then Minako had fumbled an expression that somehow made sense in a macabre sort of way.
"Get me out of here! Usagi! You hear me?!"
And so, each time the girls visited the Saotome home on extended trips, the Moon Cats, if accompanying them, found themselves locked up inside of the emergency kit. And every single time, one of the girls (they never knew which one, but if Luna ever found out...) would slip inside of the basket a recipe book. On how to cook and prepare cats.
"USAGI! LET US OUT OF HERE! NOW!"
The joke was wearing quite thin with Luna. On the night before each trip, she swore to herself that she'd never let them stick her inside of the basket again. And each morning, she awoke to find herself inside. How, she never found out. None of the girls would admit to anything. And Artemis, he was of no help. He would always just lie down and take a nap during these trips. He was so laid-back about everything; it was ticking her off.
"And you! Why won't you get up and help me? Stop humming that damned tune!"
[To the melody of Aishuu no Borebo]
"%Meow meow... meow meow meow...
"%Meow meow... meow meow meow...
"AAARRRGGGHHH!!!"
