Addicted to Love: Ranma Thread: The Brother that Wasn't and Isn't [Episode 3388]

Nabiki wasn't too certain of that anymore. The last bar she'd tried had told her about a fight between two young men that had spilled out into the streets. She knew Ranma was one of the combatants, but the description she had for the other young man could have been any of a number of people. Ryouga, Ryuu Kumon, Pantyhose Tarou, maybe somebody she didn't know.

In any case, Ranma, being drunk had gotten the worst of the fight, but they had assured her that he had walked off fine and under his own power.

And so she had walked down the street questioning everyone she thought likely to have been on the street the night before. Now she was coming to this temple, where Ranma apparently became incapable of holding the wound closed.

Nabiki's weariness fled her as she saw the first of the blood smears as it led up to the temple. She didn't love Ranma as the fiancees had, as even Akane might have at one time. But the boy was the younger brother she never had.

Her steps quickened she headed up to the temple, hoping that she'd find Ranma alright at the building. Certainly there'd be police cars if there was a body, right. Nabiki knocked fervantly on the door as...something caught her...

"AHHH!" the scream shouted.

"Looks like Banpei caught somebody," Keiichi said. "I'll get it."

"I'll go to!" Skuld insisted. Belldandy nodded and proceeded to dress Ranma. the redhead woke up a moment later and gasped.

"Where am I!" she demanded. "What...uh..." she caught sight of Belldandy and calmed down. "...Belldandy...right?"

"That's correct Ranma," Belldandy said, smiling.

"I'm stuck as a girl aren't I," Ranma said. Belldandy's smile faltered.

"Yes," Belldandy said. "You see...Ranma...you're male side was...killed..." There was a thump from behind Belldandy, and both Ranma and Belldandy turned to see Nabiki Tendo sitting down awkwardly in the wake of her knees failing her.

• Nabiki recovers quickly and is just glad that Ranma is alive...
• Nabiki recovers quickly and starts investigating....
• While unconscious, the dying Mara is visited by Kami-sama...the talk results in Mara becoming a goddess...
• As #1 or 2 but Belldandy also suggests that perhaps if Ranma's divine heritage were triggered that she'd be able to cast spells to be male again...
• as 1 or 2 except Belldandy suggests that Urd might be able to change her back to male (Urd can)
• as 1 or 2 except Ranma is pregnant too
