"This battle shall be glorious," Galda said. "A truly worthy fight."
Amelia stared at him, "Aren't you scared?"
"I live for a true battle," Galda replied, and looked at Zelgadis. "Hmm. Frail body, but you have potential. You are not an idiot. I can train you on the way. That way, you'll be more competent with your weapon."
Zelgadis nodded. 'At least I'll be better trained than I was. Magic will take a bit of doing. I wonder how Lina got so strong. I'll have to ask her about it.'
The small group made their way through bounty hunters. Galda was having the time of his life, beating up so many 'allies of justice'. A strange couple showed up on the road in front of them. A priest and a blue haired woman. Other than Galda, the group recognized one of them.
Zelgadis sighed and asked, "So, what does the fruit Xellos want?"
Taken aback, Xellos asked, "How do you know my name?"
Zelgadis held up a finger and winked. "Now THAT is a secret."
Amelia and Sirius hid their laugter behind their hands, while Xellos and Fillia facefaulted. Amelia looked at the woman and her laughter died as her eyes widened in shock.
"Fillia?" Amelia gasped out. "B-but how? And your hair......"
Zelgadis and Sirius looked at the woman and were stunned that it was Fillia. Fillia looked at Amelia and felt a flash of recognition.
"It's like this," Fillia began.
She told them of finding the Aincent Dragon gem in her belongings and her flight to the Barrier.
"I needed to know," Fillia said. "I prayed to the Mother of All Things to let me through the Barrier. She answered and turned me into a Sapphire Dragon. I'm stronger and faster than I was, but I have no idea why she did it."
Zelgadis stared at where the Pilliar of Light would be. "You said faster, right? In case he runs, we have the means to catch up with him."
"In case who runs?" Xellos asked.
Zelgadis held up a hand to silence everyone and replied, "That shall remain a secret."
Xellos again facefaulted. 'I don't know why, but I have the feeling he's getting back at me.'
