Ranma walked, whistling in the streets of Tokyo, the pegasus pandora's box strapped on his back. It had been a long time since he had been that carefree. He had left Nerima behind for good just this morning, closing that chapter of his life. His last alterations would ensure that no one would come after him except potential allies in his fight for justice.
Saint Seiya was his favorite manga and anime series. Mythical warriors of old taping into their 'cosmo' to perform superhuman feats and use deadly attacks against their enemies. He remembered Marine's speech about what cosmo was in the first volume of the manga :
"Every living being is the product of a big cosmic explosion, an explosion that never ends who provides every living creature with a source of infinite energy. Every person, no matter who, still possesses that cosmos deep within him and whenever he needs, he can make his cosmo to explode again and use that energy to crush the very stars".
It was the holy grail of martial arts. Ki and Chi paled in comparison with the infinite energy of cosmo, born from Creation itself. Ranma had followed the adventures of Athena's saints, admiring their sacrificing spirit, their willpower and strong sense of justice. How many times had he wished he could be like them ? Now was his chance.
Ranma Saotome was now the Pegasus saint. He had the power level Seiya had before the Hades, meaning he could, in times of emergency and great need, access the seventh sense of the gold saints to reach the ultimate cosmo. The pegasus cloth (the second one anime-wise) would then turn from bronze to gold to better handle the energy output.
In time, four others would join him. Andromeda, Cygnus, Dragon, Phoenix... The five bronze saints would fight to protect Earth and humanity from all menaces who would threaten them, be they men, monsters or gods !
Ranma stopped, his cosmic senses having spotted something wrong. He took off at insane speeds, headed for the source of the disturbance.
