Symbiont had contacted the parts of Ranma's brain below rational thought. At this level much of what would pass for his personality and morality were nonexistent.
As far as anyone was concerned, Ranma just flared pure white and changed.
What was standing there now didn't resemble Ranma.
Kasumi's back hit the wall and she had her mother's crucifix out and was praying.
Kodachi wailed like a lost soul and tried to run, only to bounce off an unmoving Ryouga.
Others reacted similarly.
Nine feet tall at least. Golden skin and hair, glowing eyes that were pure sky blue without sign of iris or pupil, broad wings of gold and bronze, crackling with power, large and muscular, wearing thick plates of armor. What stood before them made them feel less real.
In that gaze as no pity, no hope of redemption, it judged them.
Mostly it was a psychic projection. Now the Gaze turned to each of them.
There were whimpers as the Gaze passed, as they saw (telepathic read/projection) all of their pettiness and sinfulness magnified and projected back at them with the sort of sensation a handful of oiled maggots might produce - except this was far worse.
Nabiki started throwing up after the Gaze passed by her.
And then he was abruptly gone.
Threat level minimized.
Chance of immediate pursuit: none
Chance of eventual pursuit: high
Removing host from immediate environ.
Symbiont decided to "eat mass" for later transformations, and so found a supply of metal at a nearby construction site and absorbed it. Now it was just a matter of getting Host somewhere safe:
