Eating the magic Stud Muffin had an unexpected effect on Ranma; his brain had started working.
He realised that arguing with someone who was happy about turning people into pets and who could turn people into pets was probably not a good idea and that he should get the heck away from the store before he was furred himself. Akane was not going to be cured by the store.
He thought about going back to the Spells R'Us store. The wizard had seemed quite polite and helpful.
He also considered going to one of the other new shops. Some of them gave him the creeps, but a few looked harmless. Of course, so had Furries 4 U. Maybe if appearances were deceiving, he should try the scary one then?
Perhaps, he mussed, it would be best to stick with the basics and contact the old ghoul Cologne and see what she knew.
There was also the thought that maybe it was not so bad this way. Other parts of Ranma had also started working.
"Come along, Akane," Ranma urged with a tug on her leash. "Heel girl." Akane happily bounced behind her as he lead her to ....
