The crystal cube hummed and glowed as soon as Ranma's hand touched it. Soon a ghostly image of a short, green something was floating in the air. Wise eyes turned to the man who had activated the holocron.
Only one person knew he had made a holocron with all the teachings of the Jedi and that was the one who made it. Yoda, one of the greatest of the Jedi Order. Now another knew it and his name was Ranma Saotome.
"Greetings, Young one. What is your name?"
"Ranma Saotome and you?"
"Yoda I am."
Both the Ranma and Yoda studied each other intently. Ranma was annoyed that this guy seem to be another short, old freak. Yoda, even thought he didn't show it, was surprised at the sheer potential this young one had in the force but he was close to falling to the dark side with his arrogance and fear.
"Interesting you are. Powerful you are but arrogant and feaful. Close to falling to the dark side and evil you are also."
"I am afraid of nothing and am the best martial artist in my generation."
"Cats. Scared of them you are."
'How did he know?"
"How I know you ask. See it in your mind I do. Help you I can. Need training you do. To find your way through the world you do. Not knowing of what you are doing and why. Neither do you care." The ancient warrior says in a soft voice.
Ranma is stunned speechless. How on Earth did this small guy know of his deepest fears? He looked at this small person with respect and a little fear.
