Ranma looked at the box on the ground and looked at it. Upon picking it up he saw a red statue in the shape of a claw. He blinked for a moment then took it out and held the statue in his hands.
Ranma began to worry once the statue started to glow.
Ranma decided life was going to get a little rough soon as everything went white.

It was a little known fact that Iceron had a sort of rival/colleague/friend by the name of Firestien. Firestrien was a man before his time with both magical and technological abilities. His desire was simple.
Not to create a group of were-creatures like Iceron...
Not create robots with his technology...
But to COMBINE the two together, essentially creating a were-creature with cybernetic implants and enhancements.
The project would take much longer to complete however, combining technology and magic was possible but difficult. The end result, however, could actually outstrip a normal were creature. He called them Cyber-Creatures.
In human form, they looked no different from a normal human being.
In Hybrid or Full Beast form though a cybernetic armour would cover the body, and nano-technology inside the body enhancing it, and increasing power and help heal damage. The armour design would vary from cyber-creature to cyber-creature in design, flexibility, durability and strength. (To best match the wearer)
However something happened to him after he finished him project. No one knows what it was, but this was known. He sealed his creation, a red statue in the shape of a claw, that when activated would change the first person that grabbed it into an appropriate cyber-creature... And would have the power to change other willing people into cyber-creatures.
And Ranma was the first to pick it up...

Gothwrian. Instigator of the were-cheetah slaughter. Dictator of the were-rats. Mob boss of mob bosses.
And very, very ANGRY!
Moihsa, Romeo and Lydia could attest to that as they laid smoking (As in burned badly, not smoking cigarettes) and moaning in pain. Lydia was the first to recover enough to speak.
“Well we couldn’t %&(%*$ help it! That shrunken THING groped me an Moisha, we had to do something!”
“LIKE LOSE THE STATUE OF FIRESTIEN?!”
“Well, like, we didn’t mean too!” Moihsa countered. “Like, why was it so important anyway?”
Gothwrian slumped in his seat. “Firestien was a kind of counterpart to Iceron, what I have is sketchy, but that statue was supposed to have the ability to create a super-were creature. We could have used it to discover it’s secrets and create a new were-rat race... but instead...” He stood up glaring at the were-rat trio and powered up a fireball.
“Instead you three FOOLS LOSE IT!”

Ranma blinked as he looked into his surroundings. There was only the ‘floor’ but looked like there was an infinite purple ‘net’ along it.
Greetings Ranma. In turn Ranma looked around and saw a glowing red light. I apologize for this intrusion into your mind. I am the spirit of Firestein. You have activated my statue, and will be... transformed!
Ranma blinked as he looked at the light. “What!?”
Transformed into the first Cyber-Creature. You will, of course, have the power to create more, if the person is willing to be transformed. You are the first of a new race of powerful creatures. Look at yourself, and behold!
