All the Autobots, along with their minicons allies, were gathered in the control center, listening to Ranma as she explained what had happened to her. As she finished, Red Alert spoke up. "You remember everything your entire life as Skylancer, but also as Ranma Saotome?" The red-head nodded, and almost instantly, the Autobot medic went into a rant. "According to what I know about human biology, that should be impossible. Human neural nets operate in a completely different manner to a minicon, and that's not even getting started on diferences in internal structure. There's almost no way the they could be compatible!
"Ah Red, I hate to point out the obvious," Jetfire said, "but we've seen her transform. You can complain and question all you like, but it's there anyway.
"But..." Red Alert scowled, then muttered under his breath as he tried to figure it out.
"However this is possible," Optimus said, "it means that you do have a life here on Earth, and I don't want to take that away from you. If you want to go back to it, I won't try to stop you."
Ranma nodded, a thoughtful look on her face. "Thanks for the offer Prime, but I'm already commited. Something tells me the Decepticons won't give up on hunting me down simply because I nearly ripped Thrust's head off. Besides, I'm a martial artist. It's my duty to defend those that can't defend themselves."
Prime laughed softly. "Now that's a belief I can agree with." He glanced over at Scavenger, who currently had a thoughtful look on his face. "Scavenger?"
"A martial artist? How long have you been training?" the bulky Autobot asked.
"All my life," Ranma said, the old pride coming into her voice. "I'm one of the best martial artists on the planet."
"Really," Scavenger said. "Were you capable of manipulating your life force before you and Skylancer fused?"
"My ki? Sure," Ranma replied. "I've been able to focus it to increase my power for years, and externally for about ten months now."
"That's it!" Scav yelled, clapping his hands together in satisfaction. "That's why she's so powerful!"
"Good work," Hot Shot said. "Care to share your findings with the rest of us?" he added.
"Of course." He glanced down at Ranma. "Your training as a human reached a point that very few Transformers are known to be capable of reaching. Then, when you fused with Skylancer, your Sparks were combined into one being. Your ki as you call it is the combined power of two seperate beings. The power levels would be off the scale!"
"Despite your small size by our standards," Blurr noted, "You may well be the equal of many of us, if not stronger. Amazing."
Prime was silent as everyone else in the room was talking. After a moment, he raised his hands for silence. "While this is amazing," he noted, "it also makes keeping you out of Decepticon hands even more important."
"True, but I don't want to give up my life," Ranma said. "It's crazy, it sucks at times, but still, I don't want to give up on being Ranma Saotome."
"We give you a communicator," Sparkplug said. "Something comes up, you contact us, we move in to back you up."
"That sounds like a good plan for the time being," Prime said. "And on that note, we should get you home before anyone gets too suspicious. Hot Shot, once she has some equipment, would you give her a ride home?"
"Sure thing Prime."

"Skylancers abilities are quite remarkable," Blurr commented as he and Scavenger made their way through Autobase. "A true example of what training in the martial arts can achieve."
"Indeed," Scavenger replied. "It's amazing what she achieved in such a short period of time. But thats not the issue now." The pair entered a large chamber, only recently hollowed out if the work drones were any indication. In one corner, there was a large collection a stone slabs. Scavenger handed his student a data pad. "On that, you'll find the plans for a stucture the humans call a pyramid. I want you to build it. By hand."
Blurr looked at the plans, and nearly fainted in shock. "Sir, are you sure about this?"
"I'm quite sure," Scavenger replied. "Consider it your punishment for your recent unauthorised actions. Have fun." He transformed to vehicle mode and drove off, leaving Blurr alone, staring at the slabs numbly. Finally he sighed, looked over the plans again, and got to work.
