The speaker was an unusual sight, if for no other reason than that American teenagers were not often seen sitting in the middle of the Libyan Desert with nothing but sand dunes for miles. The fact that he seemed pleased with his situation was even more bizarre. There was that dust cloud on the horizon, but that was rapidly disappearing.
"Wow, I didn't know you could make a map that got into so much detail on every sand dune in five square miles of nothing," he whistled appreciatively and started scribbling on the map. "These new satellites are great! Now if I remember the other map correctly...and Cairo is that way...adjusting for the movements of the plates over the last four thousand years...average wind velocity...the number of flood seasons since the map was made...the eruption of Vesuvious...the flapping of a monarch butterfly accidentally imported to Beijing...then it should be!!!"
The speaker stood up quickly and trotted three steps before attacking the sand at his feet. After clawing away at the dune for nearly three minutes his hands came into contact with hard, intricately carved stone.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" He stood up and looked out in the direction the dust cloud had vanished. "THANKS KIYOKO!!!!"

Two beings watched from a separate realm of existence
"Oh good, I was thinking no one would ever show up here," a male voice said in relief.
"I have the records on these two," the second speaker had a purring female voice.
"What do they say?"
"Its not pretty."
