It had only been a day since Soun and Genma had thrown that orb at Ranma, which then engulfed him in a sphere of light and then caused him to vanish... Seeing as Nodoka had walked in just in time to see Genma throw the ball which banished her son.... well lets just say that the doctors predict he'll be back on solid foods relativily soon...^^;
"I believe I have figured out what happened." Cologne replied instantly drawing the attentin of the Fiancee squad from their plans of ...'extending' Genma's inability to eat solids , as well as the attention of the rest of the NWC. (Well except for Kuno, who had had a little to much of the sake flowing at the farewell Ranma party thrown by his Rivals. He was currently passed out in the backyard mumbling about his two loves)
After she made sure she had all of thier attention, COlogne continued... "It seem's that the dynamic dimwits over there stopped by the cursed magic shop and picked up a pair of Destiny stones, and then actually managed to use them correctly." As she said this Cologne revealed two stones, one a dull white *Its magic haveing been expended on ranma*, the other glowing a sickly black.
It was at this time Soun failed his Wisdom check (his intelligence checks tended to be failed by default) and spoke drawing attention to him. "Yes! I don't understand.. the owner said that the stones would send its victims to his/hers true destiny! It was perfect..Ranma touch's the stone and ends up Married to my Little Akane! Its a match made in heaven, surely its fate!"
"No WAY! Ran-chan's destined to be mine!"
"Aiyah! Amazon law say Ranma Destined for Shampoo!"
"What? No way I want to marry that Pervert." "Bah! Ranma's destiny is to perish at my hand." Oddly enough this one came from both Mousse, Ryouga, and hte unconscious Kuno at the same time.
"SILENCE!" Bellowed out Cologne as she hopped over to whack Soun upside the head with her cane, before bouncing back to her crystal."The Destiny stones help its victims to a destiny that suits them... not to a destiny you want you fool! Son-in-law could be anywhere!"
"Yeah Right, a Destiny for Ranma? Just look for some great martial arts tournament or something" Snorted Nabiki, who was slightly irritated that she couldn't sell this information.
"Sadly its not that simple Nabiki. The wielder has little to say in the destiny provided, so it could be anything from fighting an unspeakable evil, to helping out someoenelse who will someday save the world in a time of trial, to being the parent of some hero of destiny. The stones are used by the gods whenever they need a person to fill in where destiny requires someone." Cologne finally got her crystal set up, as well as the mystical barriers that will keep the keystone cops...errr.. the NWC from interupting the delicate spell.
"Fortunatly this also works in our favor... since Ranma now has a set destiny, a modified clairvoyance spell SHOULD show us what he will face in the future and perhaps give us a clue where to find him. Rember this is a event that may happen in the near future..." As she spoke the crystal glowed and projected an image into the air. The NWC gasped as they behled a Were-smilidon in a pigtail while he....
"Sell the tape or keep fo rmy own..ARGH I can't decide I must have both! not to selve charge Kuno extra for influencing me""Wai! my son is so manly!"
"Oh my! Akane isn't that the CHicken teriyaki you made last week?"
"Aiyah! Kitchen-destoryer gradute into monster maker!"
"Ranma no BAKA! How dare you insult my cooking!"
"Thats not Kima!"
"RANMA NO BAKA!!!"(all the fiancees)
"Quick Saotome Your son must be at that MT. Pheonix place! Let us retrieve him before this happens!"
"Wai! My son is so manly!"
"WAI WAI WAI!! my son is os MANLY and getting me GRANDBABIES!!" Cue Nodoka dancing around the Tendo home while the Fiancee squad give the image a glare of death.
