Saotome Genma was nervous. His wife, Nodoka, was about to give birth. He had even chosen a name for his future heir; Saotome Ranma sounded like a good choice. The infamous dimwit's keen martial artist's sense of hearing soon alerted him to the congratulations of the doctors, and he rushed in just in time to see the doctor spank the baby.
Of course, what happened next was quite unexpected.
"Itai!" the baby yelled, "That hurt, you worthless piece of..."
Ranma, barely more than a minute old, proceded to call the doctor a number of names in over a hundred different languages, most of which were rude enough to make a sailor blush.
Of course, he settled down quickly enough, until, that is, he was told his name. Then he insisted that the doctors find him a nice foster home.
And that, of course, is how Tsukino Shinji found his new home, at least until the Dark Kingdom invaded, when he proceded to choke to death on his lunch. His last words were 'Tux-boy.... BWAHAHAHA!!!"
