Theo was waiting for the two teens to get their clothes on before he punished them, yes he was extremely angry, (to put it mildly), but he wanted them to be decent at least. After they finished getting dressed he addressed them. "Britanny, you do realize what kind of chances you were taking right?" She nodded. "Then why? You could have gotten pregnant and then had to marry this boy and quit high school."
"But dad."
"But what?" Before Brit could answer a giant panda ran out of the bushes followed by the five amazons that Ranma ran over and Cologne.
Everyone stopped what they were doing save Genma, he kept running and running and headed for the hills, the amazons stopped at the sight of a man with a skull for a head, and two teen werecheetahs. "Greatgrandma, who are these people?" Shampoo asked.
"I don't know Shampoo, but there's the werecat that ran you over." Shampoo was about to go give the kiss of marriage, but Cologne stopped her. "Dear child doing that might not be a good thing, look at the two werecats." She pointed to them and Shampoo and the others noticed for the first time how flushed they looked.
"Greatgrandma, you mean they're lovers?"
"Yes, that's what I mean." Shampoo got an angry look in her eyes and lifted her bonbori up to smash the outsider who took away her aireen. "Stop it Shampoo, you did not give him the kiss of marriage and besides, the Amazon Laws prevent you from attacking a pregnant woman."
"WHAT?!?!?" This came from Theo who's head took on rediculously gigantic porportions. Turning to Ranma he screamed, "HOW DARE YOU GET MY DAUGHTER PREGNANT?!?!?"
"WHAT?!? I DIDN'T MEAN TO REALLY!" Ranma yelled back as he turned grabbed Britanny and hightailed it out of there, he did not want to deal with someone who looked like he was about to go into a killing spree. And so he ran as far and as fast as possible.
Back at the lake. . .
Colonge blinked a couple of times then chuckled, "At least he didn't leave his wife out on a lurch."
Theo on the other hand was pissed, majorly and royally pissed, "THAT LITTLE BASTARD WHEN I FIND HIM I'LL KILL HIM AND SEAL HIS SOUL IN THE UNDEAD REALM!!!"
Colonge looked at him, "And pray tell why? Would you condenm their child from knowing who the father is? Or make the mother suffer?"
That had the desired effect of calming Theo down, the skull disappeared and he turned to look at the old woman who said that. "I'm sorry, it's just that I promised my wife I'd look after our children and then I go and leave for a couple of hours and this happens. I really don't know what to do right now." Theo let his shoulders slump a bit. "And now he might just decide to either run away forever with my girl or just leave her behind."
Colonge nodded she knew what was troubling him, he was worried he lost his family, turning to the others she said, "Shampoo take the others and go find the Panda, when you find it kill it." They nodded and Cologne turned toward Theo. "Now, now, I'm sure that they'll come back, I think the only reason that they left was so that you didn't kill him, that and the fact they have to come to terms about having a child within the next year." Theo looked at her and nodded. "By the way, who's your wife?"
"Julia, Julia Brigand-Diggers, why?"
Colonge's eyes nearly popped out of her head when she heard that name, "Twenty years ago she showed up in my village, we talked and found out that we're cousins of a sort."
"Oh, what do you mean?"
"We're both descended from the Greek Amazons." And then she started to cackle, what irony, the Amazons would have new blood, just not the Chinese Amazons.
A couple hundred miles away. . .
Ranma nearly passed out from running so hard for so long. He sat Britanny down and attempted to catch his breath. Brit was still shell-shocked that she was pregnant, but that couldn't be right could it?
After he caught his breath, Ranma turned to Britanny, "Britanny, I am so so sorry, I didn't mean to get you pregnant." He looked at her and tried to convey just how sorry he was through his eyes, he never was good with words.
Brit looked into his eyes and saw infinate amounts of compassion, love and saddness. "Why are you so sad?"
"Cause I ruined your life."
"No you didn't."
"Really?"
"Yes, I'm glad it's you and not someone else." He smiled at her and gave her a hug that she gave back easily. It seemed everything would be all right.
