Nabiki's eyes widened as she realized she was wearing the heavy full Shinto wedding kimono including that 15# headpiece.
Nabiki turned green under her white makeup as she realized the groom was GENMA SAOTOME!
"Do you Nabiki Tendo, forever forsake being a Tendo to take up the name and clan Saotome?
Do you take this stupid panda to be your lord and your husband,
To obey and defer to him in all things, and to cook and to clean and maintain his home,
To bear him many Heirs for him, so that he can sell them off and abuse them,
To put up with his stupid nonsense and not question his apparent lack of sanity,
And all that sort of thing, so long as you both shall live?"
"Hai," said Nabiki, even if her mind was screaming "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
"And do you Genma Saotome, take this pathetic excuse for a girl,
this lying wretched creature known as Nabiki Tendo,
do you promise to use her in every manner, degrade and humiliate her,
ultimately to redeem her and make her a happy little mindless houseslave?"
"I guess," said Genma, thinking only that at last the families would be joined.
"It is done. Mazeltov!" The priest proclaimed. "Now it's time to tap the sake kegs while you kiss the bride."
"Oh my," said Kasumi, "what about the prior Mrs Saotome?"
Ranma frowned in his dream. While he had very little idea of what was involved in a Shinto wedding except for a few derogatory comments made about such by women he'd overheard, he had forgotten entirely about his Mom. Well, considering some of her weird ideas on manliness...
Nodoka appeared out of nowhere, right behind Genma and Nabiki as Genma gave his new wife a chaste kiss and squeeze that didn't grab much more than folds of kimono.
