Megumi twisted around in midair, her clothes disintegrating and reforming over -
a chromed body.
Hephaestus had thought of many possibilities and an actual physical transformation and empowerment had been decided on. When in human form, Megumi was completely human, when powered up - she was living metal.
Sif shattered her prison even as Sailor Mercury was discovering her new skin tone. "That's it, Akuryo Taisan!"
The demoness started blocking the spirit wards heading her way.
All systems - online. Status - nominal.
Combat systems - active. Arming system - open.
Ident: Sailor Mercury, aka Megumi Morisato (empowered form)
Strength level: 25 tons max lift
Armored form is equivelant of duralloy.
Life support - active.
Ability to direct interface with machines/electronics and remote operate.
Major Attack: Heavy Laser (right arm will temporarily form beam weapon).Radar pulse: one demon (minor), one ally (Sailor Mars)
Targetting Demon: Target is Demon, Third Class. Doublet System not involved. Target valid.
Megumi found her arm pointing at the demoness and was curious. She pointed her right hand at the storeclerk and let her chromed forearm and hand reshape into a gun barrel. "Heavy Laser!"
Power flowed and shot across the space between the two, transfixing the demoness who seemed to waver like a bad image and "pop" out of existence.
Megumi stared and then noticed she hadn't cut off her attack and was making a steadily growing hole in the wall. She cut off her attack.
The store seemed to shimmer and slowly fade into an unoccupied tenement.
Megumi found a way to relax a little mental knot and found herself transforming back to her human form. "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT ABOUT?!"
"Good job, Sailor Mercury!" The cat announced as she leapt out the window.
"Wait a minute! I NEED SOME ANSWERS!" Megumi chased out the door but there was no sign of the cat by the time she reached it. That left only one person to turn to.
"Wow! That was something else," said Sif. "How long have you been able to do that, you looked like you were made of liquid metal or something there, Megumi!"
"Liquid metal? That explains the 'Mercury' bit," complained Megumi as she realized Sif didn't have any answers as to her own transformation. "Wait a minute... Sailor Mars? Sailor MERCURY?!"
"What's a Sailor Mars?" asked Sif.
"You, probably for the red hair," said Megumi thoughtfully. "I hope Takeuchi-san doesn't sue us."
"Huh?" Sif was confused.
"Never mind, I think my brother has some questions to answer," said Megumi.
