"So we're in agreement?" Akane asked the group. "Ranma needs something other than fiancees at present."
There were many nods around the table. Eventually even Nabiki agreed.
"All right then," said Akane. "Hmmm. Maybe we should get a cask of Spring Of Drowned Man water and have it brought here instead of trying to take Ranma there."
"That no good idea," said Shampoo. "Longer we carry cask, more likely we is get splashed. Water is curse, curse always try make things worse, eventually do."
There were many nods at that, as it made perfect sense considering how much Ranma had wanted to get rid of his curse and never succeeded.
There had been many strange alliances through the years. This was one of them. Akane, Azusa, Hinako, Kasumi, Kodachi, Miyo, Nabiki, Shampoo, Ukyo.
"We should start right away," said Hinako. "I'll file the papers at school to cover the students."
"Wait, not everyone should go," said Akane, eyeing Azusa and Kasumi especially. "A small group accompanying Ranma is best and not everyone here is ready for that kind of journey."
