After this fateful encounter with Hotaru Tomoe, the girl Ranma now considered as his Queen, the half-alien boy was taken care of by her family. Her parents had gone to the police but there had been no reports of a missing boy of Ranma's age and description. Genma knew better than go to the authorities to look for his son, he didn't want his inhuman revolutionary scientific methods to be revealed to the Public.
Souichiro, his wife and especially Hotaru didn't want Ranma to be sent to an orphanage. So they adopted the boy and Ranma became Ranma Tomoe.
He and Hotaru were virtually inseparable and the boy seemed to worship the ground his little sister walked on. He was quick to come to her rescue whenever she was in trouble. Children who wanted to pick on Hotaru had to go through Ranma first.
The first time someone had tried that, Ranma had sent the poor boy in the hospital and only Hotaru's tearful order to stop had saved the bully's life. It didn't matter if you were a boy or a girl or if you were of a good family or not. Mess with Hotaru Tomoe and Ranma would make you pay dearly.
The result of this was that the Tomoe siblings were almost universally shunned at school. When Hotaru's healing powers manifested, it was proof to the other kids that they were real monsters. No one dared call them that to their faces though. In consequence, Hotaru and Ranma became even more attached to each other.
While Hotaru followed in her parents' footsteps and was a good student, Ranma excelled at all physical activities. Only his queen's orders motivated him to pay any attention in class. In his mind, the priority was to develop and hone the combat skills the Saotome genes had given him to better protect the Queen.
As he grew older, the xenomorph instincts were slowly pushed to the back of his mind, replaced by his human intelligence. The alien in him came out only in stressful situations.
When Ranma was fifteen and hotaru fourteen, Souichiro Tomoe launched the fateful experiment that would open a way for the coming of Pharaoh 90. His wife was killed instantly. Ranma...
