Nodoka looked at the clock It said it was 10:54 am. She groaned. Why did she wake up so late? She had a baby to take care of for Christ's sake. "Nnn... Time to get up, Genma..."
Nodoka blinked, as she just noticed something. Genma wasn't in bed with her. "Genma?"
Nodoka got up from the bed slowly. Perhaps Genma had thought to let her sleep in, and was taking care of Ranma while she caught up on her rest. "Such a caring husband I have..."
Nodoka made her way downstairs. Yet she found the floor oddly quiet. In fact, besides herself, the only thing making noise was the large clock on the wall. "Genma?" She called out.
Moving through the downstairs, going through the living room, the kitchen, the laundry room, the entry hall, Nodoka noticed something very wrong. She couldn't find her husband. "GENMA!"
Suddenly, a thought went through Nodoka Saotome's mind. The chill that went up her back... "RANMA!"
Nodoka was running back up he stairs, heading straight for her baby's room. She slammed the door open. Her heart jumped up to her throat as she could see that there was no child in the crib. "RANMA!!!"
Nodoka was running around the house, calling the name of her son and husband. Yet there was no answer. She couldn't find them anywhere in the house or the backyard. "GENMA! RANMA!!!"
That chill... It ran up her back again. It was then Nodoka remmebered her husband talking about genetic research, to make their child the greatest...
Nodoka ran out of the house, still in her nightgown. She didn't mind the stares she recieved, of the fact she was cutting up her bare feel on asphalt on concrete. She was only concentrating on making her way to the Labs. She knew Genma liked to spend his time in the Labs in downtown Tokyo. "GENNNMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
