Akane smiled. She would be a Good Girl and this curse would be over.

"Uh right," said Ranma. "See - I gotta get it removed or else I'm gonna get all kinds of hassle from her dad and my pops and stuff."

"That's nice, might I suggest a nice long quest?" The wizard shook his head. "Curses are easy to apply or get. Getting rid of them can be a real pain."

"Boy, do I know that," agreed Ranma. "Still..."

• Ranma discards diplomacy and starts reacting in a brutal but straightforward manner. This guy will remove the curse, or else!
• Ranma decides that's a point, and starts seeing if this guy has any clues on removing a Jusenkyo curse.
• At this point Genma and Soun arrive and any hope of diplomacy or a peaceful resolution goes right out the window.
• a certain catgirl wakes up and sleepily joins the discussion.
