Digimon 1/2: Waking up in a new world [Episode 37454]

by The Demented Redhead

Ranma slowly came to, finding himself laying down in the grass somewhere. “What happened? This doesn’t look like hell?”

“Quiet,” mumbled Nabiki, currently sleeping with her head on his chest. “Sleeping.”

Ranma blinked as he looked down at her. If what he could understand was true about the Arch, that meant ... they were in love? DAMN IT!

Well, I guess it could be worse. In his mind, at least it meant he had feelings for her, love, since the Arch would only work for that.

Unless of course they both totally despised each other and the Arch was broken.

“Wow, you two are finally here!”

Blinking away from his thoughts and the drooling girl using his chest for a pillow, Ranma slowly turned to see two ... creatures ... before him. “Um ... hello?”

“Hello!” they chimed together. One looked like a large gecko, while the other looked like a small yellow snake. From the voices, he guessed the male was the green one, and the female was the yellow one.

“Um ... I’m Ranma Saotome and this is Nabiki Tendo,” he added, wondering what he could talk about. Conversation was really Nabiki’s thing.

He’d wake her, but she could be worse than Akane if you woke her up.

Nodding, the two responded. “I’m Lizarmon,” said the green one, “an In-Training digimon. This is my friend, Kyokyomon, also an In-Training. And you are our partners!” he finished in happiness, as the two rushed the humans and began rubbing against them.

Nabiki just grabbed Kyokyomon in a hug, and began to suck her thumb.

Ranma sighed. “Only to me, only to me.”
