Ranma looked at Julia, "What now Mrs. Diggers?"
Julia sighed, surpressing another shudder of terror, 'Damn childhood stories.' She didn't think he was a danger to anyone right now, but after hearing what he did and seeing the evidence around her, it was foolish to think otherwise. "I really don't know, since you're not sure if you have a home to go back to, you can stay here for a little bit." Raising a hand to stop any protests, "It would be best if he stayed here for a while anyways, so that he doesn't have a relapse of what happened." Those that were conscious nodded, the rats suddered to think what would happen if he lost control, he might not snap out of it again.
"I also want to appologize for my actions to all of you."
Gar answered, "It's not your fault this happened, from what I understand what happened to you is almost the same thing that happened to Brianna when she was Grave Digger." Those that remembered Grave Digger nodded and shuddered at the memory.
Just then Carla and Luan showed up, "Sensei, we've finished with our latest training assignmenAAAAAAAAAAA!!" They yelled when they saw the weresmilidon just standing there, they quickly jumped behind Gar and were shaking.
Ranma blinked, "What's with them?"
Julia sighed, "Unfortunately you're a bit of a legend on Jade, and not a very good one. Those two are from Jade and when you awoke nearly every magic user could feel it. You're like the boogyman."
"I see." Ranma looked at the floor, a bit more depressed than before.
"Hey don't feel so bad, no one has ever seen a weresmilidon before and it was just a story to scare children. Though I have to admit anyone from Jade will probably be afraid of you at least until they get to know you." Sheila said, to calm some fears down. Yeah she knew how scary the legends were, that spoke of an unstopable werecat, but they were nothing compared to the real thing.
Luan and Carla peeked out when they heard this, "Um, sensei, he's not dangerous is he?" Luan asked.
Gar smirked, "Not unless you fight him."
Britanny decided at that moment to wake up, "Uhh, did anyone get the number of that tuna truck that ran me over?"
Julia chuckled a bit, "It wasn't a truck Britanny."
"Then what was. ." She trailed off when she saw the weresmilidon looking at her and waving. "Mom, why the hell isn't he in some sort of containment unit?"
Ranma winced knowing that she probably hated him now. Julia answered her daughter, "Britanny dear, do you remember how Brianna acted when she was Grave Digger?" Seeing her nod Julia continued, "Ranma here went through something very similar, so maybe you can cut him a little slack."
"Alright, but I'm still a little bit angry at him."
Gar looked at her, "So am I Brit, so am I. But since no one was seriously injured, I'll let what happened to me slide." 'Especially since my little sister isn't hurt at all.' He thought privately.
Arnie wanted to blow something up, the rats were still nervous around Ranma, but that was to be expected, though they understood that he was under some sort of beserk spell. Jeremy was a tad upset that Ranma hurt Asrail and Ichikoo, but knew better than to try and get vengence on him, after all in human form he took down at least three dozen combot drones, and in his hybrid form he could probably take on the entire U.S. Army. Gina had left to tell Jetta of the situation, but then decided to have her show up with the family, it would be easier to explain it that way.
Ranma turned to Julia, "Since I'm staying here, I might as well help out with the clean up."
Gar spoke at that point, "Sensei, I'm going to return to Jade tomarrow and let them know of the situation, it may calm some fears down."
Julia nodded, "Yeah, that's a good idea, that way your teammates can be healed and Ranma can talk to them."
Brianna then anounced her return to the land of the living, "Ow, my head." Looking around she saw she was in Gina's lab. "Did an expirement of mine go haywire again?"
"Not exactly." She turned her head towards the voice and saw it was that new werecat who beat up her friends.
Narrowing her eyes, she pushed herself off the bed, "Alright, who do you think you are attacking us like that?"
Genn calmed her friend down, "Brianna calm down, he was under the effects of a beserk spell." While not entirely true, it was the quickest thing she could come up with that would calm her friend down.
"Oh, okay." Thinking for a moment she had to ask, "Are you single?"
Blinking Ranma answered, "Right now I'm not to sure."
"Why not?"
"I'll tell you and everyone else that didn't hear it the first time later, when everyone else is up."
Blinking and looking around she saw various members of the Edge Guard, some of the Quagmire group, and HER OWN FATHER?!?! in various regeneration tanks. "I can't wait to hear the explanation for this one."
"Uh, you can let go now."
